The rules covering this website and any purchase made through it. Placing a deposit or submitting a sales agreement means you accept them.
1. About Us
James Doberman Puppies is a private, home-based dog breeding operation based in Bowling Green, Kentucky, contactable at info@jamesdobermanpuppies.com. Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "Seller" mean James Doberman Puppies; "you" and "Buyer" mean the person using this website or purchasing a puppy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a puppy or submit a sales agreement. We reserve the right to decline any sale, at any point before collection, where we believe the placement would not be in the dog's interest. Where we decline, any money you have paid is returned in full.
3. Pricing & Availability
- Prices shown on the Available Puppies page are the full purchase price of the puppy in US dollars
- Delivery fees, where you choose a delivery option, are additional and are itemised in the sales agreement before you sign
- Availability shown on this website reflects our records at the time of publication; a puppy is only genuinely held once a signed agreement and deposit are received
- We correct pricing and availability errors as soon as we find them, and will honour any agreement already signed at the published price
4. Reservation & Payment
A puppy is reserved by completing the sales agreement and paying the deposit. The balance falls due before collection or before a delivery departs. We accept the payment methods listed in the agreement. We will never request payment in gift cards, cryptocurrency, or through any channel other than those confirmed to you directly by phone or from our own email address.
5. Photographs & Descriptions
Every photograph on this website is of a dog from our own program. Puppies change quickly at this age and markings, weight and ear carriage will differ from the photograph by the time you collect. Descriptions of temperament reflect honest observation at the time of writing, not a guarantee of adult behaviour.
6. Communication
By contacting us you consent to us replying by email, phone or text. We answer within the hour during business hours, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm Central. We do not sell, rent or share your contact details — see our Privacy Policy.
7. Website Use
- All text, photographs and design on this site are our property and may not be reproduced without written permission
- You may not scrape, copy or republish our puppy listings or photographs, including for use in fraudulent listings elsewhere
- We provide this site as-is and do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free
8. Scam Warning
Puppy photographs are frequently stolen and reused by fraudulent sellers. If you have found our dogs advertised anywhere other than this website, it is not us. Verify by calling the number published on this site. We will always speak to you by phone before taking any money.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our liability in connection with any puppy is limited to the remedies set out in the Health Guarantee and Refund Policy. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including veterinary costs, travel costs, lost earnings or property damage, except where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force for your purchase is the one published on the date you signed your sales agreement, and we will send you a copy on request.
